Yes. DD's crib, dresser, & bookshelf are all dark cherry stained wood. Her grandpa made her a beautiful wooden toy chest/hope chest for Christmas that is also dark cherry.

Nope! The crib is dark cherry and her dresser, which was mine when I was living with my dad, is a medium stain. The dresser is too small for her stuff already at 10 weeks and we're hoping to buy a bigger one..maybe we can make it match then

Re: Does your nursery furniture match?

Stuff in DD's room sort of matches, but that's as much due to luck as anthing else!! Other than her bed and bedding, most of her stuff is hand-me-downs from various sources, but I've managed to put together a room that looks really pretty nevertheless. It's still a work in progress, though.

Re: Does your nursery furniture match?

yes! We have a 4 in 1 crib, full sized dresser/changing table combo, and night stand. The only thing not from the set is the glider & ottoman, but they match the wood tone. Everything else as far as nursery items (bedding, hamper, drapes, pillows, wall hangings, rugs, lamps, frames) were all from the same theme for both boys. I'm OCD about things matching and looking perfect. I received tons of complements on both rooms although they were both rarely used I even had neighbors ask for help with their rooms

Now that were moving I'm ready to sell all of it. We wont be having more kids for a few years and even then I doubt I'll waste time on nursery furniture again. We've hardly used any of it for the past 5 years!

Re: Does your nursery furniture match?

It "goes together" but, no, it doesn't match.

It looks pretty great, though. And when I get compliments on it, I'm proud to tell people that the only thing I bought new was the crib and a couple of accessories. The shelving unit, I've had since I was in college. The antique rocker was a gift from my mom. The dresser is a hand-me-down that belonged to my aunt when she was a little girl. Most of the artwork, I bought on my honemoon in Hawaii.

When I was setting up the room, I just bought some paint, a few fabric totes at Target (2 for $10), a hanging light from IKEA ($25), a dry-erase board shaped like a surfboard, and some foam letters from the craft store that spelled out my kiddo's name. Minus the crib, I spent less than $200 in there.

Re: Does your nursery furniture match?

I said other. The actual nursery pieces, the dresser and crib, are a matched set. The bookcases that we put in and the twin bed that DS is supposed to learning to love do not match each other or anything else.

Re: Does your nursery furniture match?

It all matches, but it doesn't matter...we never use it. The first time they were even in one of their cribs what the day they turned 5 months & that was only for a few minutes so I could get the next size clothes out of their closet.

Re: Does your nursery furniture match?

If it were all in the same room it would!

The crib is in the master bedroom and the changing table is in the nursery. Now there is a purple fairy toddler bed in there with a white changing table, walnut dressing table, while chest of drawers, and copper bed.

I said yes...We didn't buy it all together, but we have found a few matching peices here and there and bought them. I haven't bought ANY new furniture for the nursery, but found lots of matching stuff at yard sales.

Re: Does your nursery furniture match?

Our crib and changing table are a matching whtie set from Babies R Us. The dresser and glider were gifts from my parents and they match, but they don't match the crib. We don't use the nuresry enough for it to bother me.
