So if you saw the name Rowan, would you think girl or boy? Or do you think it's GN? I just want to settle a discussion between me and hubby

I think it's fairly gn, but maybe a little more girly than boyish. But maybe I'm just thinking that because Brooke Shields named one of her daughters Rowan. It's a beautiful name nonetheless!

It is a boy's name traditionally - but I love it for a girl. It's gaelic root means red-headed boy IIRC.
