Re: Journey to Conception group grads!

Stacey

I feel the same! My hips and pelvis got really sore a couple days ago but that's the only change I've got going on. It all feels so surreal to me now though, like it's never really going to happen I think that is keeping me calm and patient though!

Re: Journey to Conception group grads!

Well, I am a good solid 4 and stretchy and about 85-90% effaced.
I have a MW appt tomorrow, so hoping she does soemthing to kick start this labor again!!
Just afraid with my quick birthing history of breaking my water at home and not making the 25 mild drive to the birth center in time.

Hugs crystal! sounds like the LO might be dropping for you!!

Whoo hoo stacey! Your almost 1/2 way there!

I have a appt tomorrow, doc said she would check things at that appt and strip membraines if she can. I think i might ask her if we can set up a induction date too. With the farm and having to find someone to watch the kids, it will be VERY helpful. (SIL was going to be first in line, right down the road but she is haveing surgery in just a few days...next person is my mom, and she works, so would be nice to have a date on the calander, kwim? I know i do ok with inductions since both kids were induced

Re: Journey to Conception group grads!

I have stripped my membranes twice in the last week...nothing from it as of yet. I did have bloody show the first time and some cramping and pressure but that was it. Dh did it for me today and it didn't do much...no blood or anything. I did lose a bit more plug but that was it.

Oh BTW Kirsten, I got my diaper today. I haven't put it down yet.
I think you may be to blame for me wanting this baby so badly today!!! LOL Ok, so totally J/K but it is sooooooooooo squishy soft. I just want to pet it all day long. I don't want to wash it because I am afraid it will lose it softness.

Re: Journey to Conception group grads!

UGH!!! Had some great contrax going, ones like i never had before, nice and strong 1-3 mins apart lasting a minute...went in to hopsi. 6hrs later could freakin progress the 1/4 cm that i needed for doc to break waters :ugh: so they sent me home...still having the contrax but farther apart and not nearly as strong. Just woke up from a nap so maybe now that me and baby are rested my body will kick it back into gear!

Crystal how are you doing mama?

Stacey: ugh! I hope the lil guy drops down for you!! i thought for sure you would have gone by now!

Re: Journey to Conception group grads!

Stacey I bet once your labor does start it'll go really really fast! At least that's how it always seems to happen in all the stories I've read

Kirsten, how frustrating

I'm still the same, nothing new to report here. My due date is tomorrow though not that it means anything really but it does give me a real time limit I guess. I know that within the next 2-3 weeks, no matter what, I will have a baby! That's exciting to me!!! I still don't feel like it's going to happen any time soon though for some reason. I think I've just grown accustom to being pg

Re: Journey to Conception group grads!

Wow, Kirsten! That stinks! I'll spare some dilation if you spare some cntx's. LOL

Crystal~ I hear ya! I feel like I'll be pregnant forever at this point. He doesn't want to come out of there!

I broke down and had dh take me to buy a maternity support belt in hopes of getting his head to come down. I have an appt mon and we are hoping that either labor starts/progresses on it's own before then, or that his head will be lower by then and she can break my water.
