Mel-- Did the insulin help with the fasting blood sugars? BTW, the last belly shot was awesome! I'm calling boy all the way.

I never posted back here that things were fine at the next u/s. She didn't give the actual rate of the heartbeat, but it was regular and I'm going back on Monday for a repeat u/s (they found cysts on my ovaries that they want to monitor) just to see how things are looking.

Erin- the insulin has brought the fasting sugars down some, they are still not under 100, but I am not gonna stress about it at all.... So you are thinking boy for me to, I guess Sept we will all know.

I have a 'funny' story-- I figured that you ladies here might understand it more than in my DD forum... Because I am a bit paranoid about everything being OK with this babe, I got a doppler for home use. I

it. I don't listen for more than a minute or two each time, and I don't scan every day (I try to wait at least 3-4 days between). We went away for the weekend this weekend, and when I came home, I wanted to hear that sweet noise, so I 'greased up' with the ultrasound jelly. I put it on my belly and no noise at all. The screen was on, but didn't detect any HB, but showed that I had full battery. I kept re-trying my positioning and turning it on and off, and then the cord which connected the probe to the device came fully undone, and I had my answer. When I put the cord back in securely, I was able to hear the wonderful noise of the heartbeat.

Crisis averted. I look forward to when I can feel movement so that I'm not so stinkin' paranoid...!

just hanging out here, the MMC store relaunched yesterday with my quilts and other blankies, and trying to expand DFS

Baby is 9 months today, I can't believe it! It doesn't seem like it. She's not crawling yet, but she can spin in a circle, and roll around, but i;'m not worried, lol It keeps her out of to much mischief!
