Good stuff stocking today!
Hope he feels better soon. Maybe you can try the wet sock treatment?

Re: Knock, Knock, Knocking on Wooly's Door, Wednesday!!

Thanks y'all! I'd been seeing owl cables all over ravelry and thought--why not? They are super simple--and you don't even need a cable needle, you can always slip the yarn to a dpn.

the cable pattern is 8 stitches across on a reverse st. st. background, and I did a moss stitch border to match the cuff.

row 1: p2 k8 p2
row 2 (and all wrongside rows except row 14): k2, p8, k2
row 3: p2 c4b c4f p2
rows 5,7,9 as row one
row 11: as row three
row 13: p2, k1, p2, k2, p2, k1, p2
**row 14: k2, p1, k2, p2, k2, p1, k2
row 15: as row one
row 17: as row three
row 18: as row 2

Quick woolie laundry question. I can't believe I've never asked this before, but it's never come up.

how do you wash poop off wool? Joel slept in woolies, pooped in his diaper, took his diaper off through the leg (damn that wide-leg style I like so much!) and smeared it all over on the way out. What's the best way to wash them without felting them?
