Anyone have experience with turning/delivering an oblique baby?

I guess that's what it's called, oblique frank breech to be exact. But basically baby is resting in my left hip area, head is to the right of my belly button, kicks are most up and down my left side. I thought he moved and was head down but now I'm pretty sure he's still in that same weird spot.

I'm just looking for ideas for helping him turn the right way...I'm not sure breech tilt is the right thing for getting him to turn since he's in this weird place. I am going to a chiro once a week for Webster technique.

Thanks!

most of my preg books say the more kids you have the longer they tend to stay in the breach position till closer to delivery. It looks like it really isnt a big deal till past 36 weeks and some turn right before you go into labor. HTH

One more thing we have in common... our little man is in the same position except his head in on my left rib/side and his butt in my right hip area. I hope they both figure it out soon and turn around!

LOL. Seriously, we're kindered spirits!
I'm seeing a chiro which I hope helps. No pools nearby though. Thanks for the link!

You can come swim here...but the water is freezing!
I think he'll turn, but I'd encourage him by spending as much time on my knees as possible, I was told that past a certain gestation their heads become the heaviest part of their body, so they will turn due to gravity.

Hope your well girl.

Thanks, Miranda! We actually DO have a heated one in our neighborhood but I'm sure it's still ridiculously cold right now. Maybe I could pay to go to one at a local gym or something?

Re: Anyone have experience with turning/delivering an oblique baby?

I dont know i was swimming a decent amount with my first who went into delivery a partial breech in that position - the doctors worked with me to turn him during the delivery which I am thankful for that it was natural birth but it was really painful. I would suggest trying out that cat position that is supposed to help turn them and honestly shoving on him to get him around - thats what one of the doctors was doing during my delivery from the outside but he was putting all his weight and forearm into it

best of luck
