And the girls' stuff is all pastels and purple and pink, and I am really hoping to find a bright green or red or orange, or even yellow. Of course, if I drove 5 miles in any direction, I could probably find another target...
We have about 4 locally, but not in a 5mi radius. They're all at least 15mins away. And ours isn't a super - the closest super we have is like, an hour north of here.

I can't stay long.

I have no idea what we'll do today. I should be getting groceries... we may spend part of the day w/ my mom.

I would love to knit all day but lately that just hasn't been in the cards at all with the kids...
I managed to delete some of that reply, but anyhow

I keep mine locked in a stitch holder - I found J w/ one in his mouth when I first started knitting - that was it for me. I mean, the kid's eaten a snap socket and pooped it out, but I don't think he could handle a stitch marker

Some restaurants worth a visit would definitely be Salsas on Patton, the Laughing Seed on Wall Street, and The Noodle Shop at pack square.

If you're into hiking, the Blue Ridge Parkway is right there, and of course, for sight-seeing, the Biltmore Estate is always worth a visit. Have fun!

Ah, yes! I used to work at the Grove Park Inn and I highly recommend it. He spa is amazing, and I love the gigantic fireplaces in the grand lobby. It is such a romantic place! If DH and I can ever save for a quick vaca (and find some time ) we are planning on going back there. I'm pretty sure they are having some specials right now too! I miss it so much
