I'm gonna make this recipe but the hamburger steak I have is from Angelfood so it's already formed into patties. Should I skip this part:

Yep, I'd "unpatty" it and mix in all the seasonings (since the patties from the store are probably "just" meat) and then repatty them.

thanx mamas. i did that & used crackers instead of bread crumbs b/c i didnt have any hard ones & was running short on time
