What happened to Elle Gene Diapers?
I got a couple customs when I was getting my NB stash together and now he's outgrown them, so I wanted to get some more but her hyena cart is closed. Anyone know why???

Re: What happened to Elle Gene Diapers?
I was on her yahoo group and she was having some health issues with her self and her daughter. She got pregnant and lost the baby, and her daughter had really bad skin eczema, and food allergies. It was to much to have her store and have to deal with life too. She was a super nice mama, I have a few of her newborn diapers. I think sometime these WAHM don't relize how much work it is going to be till there buisness takes off and then they are so swamped they can't take care of themselves or there family. I have heard of a ton of WAHM that get way to overwhelemed and then have to either slow down there buisness, get help or just stop. It is so sad! Expecially when they make great stuff. Plus this new stupid law, maybe that effected her decision too, but I don't know. Anyways she will be sadly missed! Let me see is I can go on and get the group letter she sent through Yahoo Group..... hold on!

Re: What happened to Elle Gene Diapers?
HERE IS THE YAHOO GROUP EMAIL:I am so sorry I disappeared! In October, my daughters skin eczema got very bad. I had also found out I was pregnant and was having horriable morning sickness. We had been trying for two years to have a baby, so we were very excited to find out our good new. We were how ever still very worried about Ella's skin, so it was very bitter sweet. We had been trying to treat her eczema since she was a baby, but nothing was working. She had it from head to toe, and she was very uncomfortable. I spent many sleepless nights just trying to sooth her. Finial in October we started several medical test to see what was causing it. Since all other medicines, and treatments weren't working. Our last tests were for allergies, and we were hoping that this test would finally give us answers. The test came back positive for nuts, and eggs. My daughter loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. She had been eating one almost everyday. My doctor and I had no idea that the nuts would be a cause for skin eczema. This was an answer to our prayers. Ella is now doing great! She is off of nuts completely, and we have been limiting her egg intake as well. So we finally have her skin completely healed and she is a different toddler. Very happy and no more itchy skin. She is finally sleeping all the way through the night with out any problems. In early November I started spotting, and lost the baby on November 13th. I am still trying to recover, thankfully I am starting feel like my self again. I do not have any plans of opening my store up anytime soon. I am still trying to recover emotionally and I need to be stress free. I love making diapers, and I know how much you all love them too. I just can't make anymore till I completely recover. I am so sorry for those that I neglected during those time. I hope you take my sincere apology for any late diapers. I truly tried my hardest to get everything out in a timely manner. I didn't mean to make excuses, I truly had sincere reasons. If anyone would like to contact me feel free, I love hearing what is going on with you. I miss some of the friendships I made and would love to see how you and your children are doing. Big Hugs, Joanna jcburningham@gmail.com
