Re: You know my WOOL don't lie and I'm starting to feel it's right -- SUNDAY
That stinks. I would definately wind it back up and list it - you can then buy some other yummy yarn

Re: You know my WOOL don't lie and I'm starting to feel it's right -- SUNDAY
Anybody mind if I just jump in?
![]() Molly, I think you'll be able to resell frogged yarn. Maybe take a little off the price since it's been knit through the body already? What colorway is RK? ![]() Here's a LS question - I just finished the gusset and started the first leg on my first pair last night. I'm not totally happy with the gusset, but they're for the new baby so I'm not worried about total perfection like I would be if they were for someone else. Is anybody who knits LS woolies happy with their gusset? My stitch pattern gets messed up...I just did KFB for the increases, so maybe if I tried to do mirrored increases it would work out better? (Am I allowed to ask for non-pattern-specific advice on this thread?) |

Sorry to hear that! It's such a pretty color. Maybe it's different IRL. I'd hank it back up & wash it. That way all the kinks will come out & the yarn is ready to be worked again when/if you sell it. You can always take off $2-3-4 and let the purchaser know that you've knit it, and then frogged and washed. ![]() It IS thin, but I love working with it. It's so soft. Is it thicker with the LS? I was thinking of doing some of mine in LS. |

Re: You know my WOOL don't lie and I'm starting to feel it's right -- SUNDAY
Good morning girls! Yay for sleeping babies!
So sorry about the frogging and yarn issues... I just ripped out the entire Knox Hood. It turned out too small. That's what I get for trying to convert the pattern for a bulky when it didn't give much in the line of measurements. Oh well, I'll do an earflap hat or something.

Thanks Shaine! I tried to do a variegated with it and it didn't work out at all. And the dark part on the leg is just a shadow.

All stitches are smalling in LS... so the Naiad knits up pretty tightly even on 10's I much prefer Gaia. So soft... but bulky. I love me some bulky and like the look of it better too.
