Wiggly Baby
Now that we are almost to four months things are getting trickier. I love using prefolds, but can someone give me some advice on exactly how to get them on a wiggly baby? By the time I get the front pulled up he's already wiggled off the back.
Any tips from those who are already professionals at this? Thanks!

Re: Wiggly Baby
It's weird - I thought we would have a lot more time before dealing with this problem! He's very mobile with his feet... He pushes down with his feet, picks up his bottom and moves his whole body. He'll scoot all the way across the living room floor that way! LOL

Re: Wiggly Baby
I took a break from prefolds from about 4 months until just lately at 10 months. I couldn't do it with all the wiggling. DD seems to be getting better at staying still now. I wish you luck...I weinered out...

Re: Wiggly Baby
Boy ur lucky my son is only 2 1/2 months and he's been wiggly since he was a couple weeks old. I always have a hard time putting a prefold on him.

Re: Wiggly Baby
We went to fitteds by the time my son could crawl away during a diaper change

Re: Wiggly Baby
I rotate my tricks because they only work for a short while, but you can bring them back again so most of the time it works.
Give a toy to play with, give a bottle of water or snack (ok maybe not a 4months my LO is now 11months and STILL wiggly), I change her on the floor so I put the mat under one of those toys that has dangly things to play with. Our has lights and music too so even though she's old for it at 11 months it still entertains her while she must be on her back! sing, make silly faces, talk And most of all. The odd time she sits still and lets me do the change (with or without distraction) I praise praise praise, smother her in kisses and hugs and play with her right after.

Re: Wiggly Baby
I give my 14 month old
something "forbidden" to play With if he super wiggly: My cell phone, my glasses, a Tube of a & d ointment etc. Every diaper change is like A wrestling match!

Re: Wiggly Baby
Sometimes it helps if I sing to my wiggly 11 mo. old. Sometimes not. LOL
