Happy Birthday Clara! It's so hard when they turn four. They really aren't babies anymore, are they?

WOTB: big ol fat toddler PF under fleece PJs. We had this discussion yesterday, you CAN put a PF under fleece PJs if you have a worthy enough diaper.

Also, if you missed yesterday, I got a new laptop! Whee! Now I can use a computer more effectively, and the girls can use my old one, wiht whatever preschoolers do on a computer. And it took my DH two hours to do all the dishes. He really earned his "favors" promised in exchange.

Clara certainly isn't a baby anymore but it's really neat to see her grow up, even though it's bitter sweet. She really loves the doll we got her and I gave her all Lily's newborn clothes to use on it (fits perfectly!). Morgan has already asked for her own doll (we were planning on getting her one anyway, for her birthday, which happens in a month)

Ugh. I've got a million loads of laundry to do. The hard part is getting them put away. If I have the kids around when I do it, then they want to get everything out and try them on, creating a bigger mess. If I wait, then I have piles of clean clothes that get wrinkled and messed up. Grr.

I've been thinking about starting an old school challenge on Extra Fluffy. Where everyone uses all their PFs they have except for naps/nights, and if you do already challenge in another way - pins, different fold, etc. I participated in one last June, and that's when I tried flats, pins, and wool - and it obviously changed my life even though I was already using PFs and PUL exclusively. What day of the week do you think would be most effective?

i do. i usually use a bamboo doubler (not always) with longies or a soaker under fleece jammies.

just poppin' in! Big kids are off to school and I'm taking boogar nose off to daycare (just kidding but I did have to use the nose sucker this morning on something dry and y)

so far I've taken a shower ( big accomplishment) got the kids on the buses, put 1 load of laundry in the dryer and 1 in the washer...

not much but mondays are always crazy here - just because the boys are tired from the weekend and missing dh - hard to get almost anything done - other than the laundry and cleaning up in the main living area rest is completely up in the air - i should call it my wishlist for the day lol
