Waiting on the Wool to Change -- Tuesday

Good morning ladies.

I cast on this scarf last night with a skein of Plumknits incredible cashmere: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...ere-neckwarmer and I'm almost done. Now the dilemma is: do I gift it as I was planning, or do I keep it for myself and buy another skein for a gift.

ooh, dev, I love that!

I woke up with really, really bad vertigo this morning. As bad as I've ever had it. I am sooo dizzy and sick feeling, and I had to bring the boys down the stairs sitting down on my butt one step at a time. I can't even walk in a straight line, so driving anywhere (including knit night tonight) is out of the question.

I hope it only lasts a day or two...

I love that scarf pattern, Dev! Can't wait to see your FO.

Here are some pics I wanted to share with you guys.

I found DS wool diving in my Cestari box yesterday.

And here are the WIP pics of the MCZ longies.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep them and have a baby boy to go in them.

Aimee, do you have any meclizine? It is lactation L3 which is moderately safe and your boys are big enough that the tiny risk of making them a little sleepy wouldn't be a concern (since they are EBF).

Good morning!! Aimee, feel better and rest up (as much as you can with the guys).
Dev, that pattern is real cool. How was your visit with the twins yesterday?
And Molly love those shots and the WIP is sweet.
I cast on a pair of shorties yesterday afternoon. Here they are:

I had really wanted to do a ruffle cuff and make them a bot longer but I didnt have enough wool. Not even for an I-cord or a drawstring. I found an old purple (which isnt the best match) which I doubled and then used one strand of my colorway and braided. I still plan to do something to the tails of the drawstring to shorten them!! But I love the colorway, crushed grapes by UberKnits!

Devorah, what color is the scarf? If you love it, keep it! I never knit anything for myself...

Aimee, I hope you are feeling better soon! Do you know what is causing this? I had a lot of dizziness at points in this pregnancy but a lot was due to dehydration. I'm sure it's not that simple for you.

Molly, your DS is so cute!! And I love those NB longies... LMK when they go up for auction.
