Sippy Cup Woes
Seth is almost 14 months old and he will NOT take a sippy cup. I've been trying since he was about 11 months. I usually just keep it near him during the day to get use to it, but everytime I try to give it to him he FREAKS out.
HELP!

Re: Sippy Cup Woes
Try straws - dd hated sippy cups at first but loved straws. Now she'll take either.

Re: Sippy Cup Woes
No advice here... DS is almost 19m and drink out of a bottle.
I don't think you have too much to worry about at long as he's getting fluids from a bottle or BFing.

Re: Sippy Cup Woes
Honestly, just from my experience w/DD I'd say leave him. He'll pick it up once he's ready!
DD didn't use a sippy until 19 mo., but then it was from one day to the other and shortly after she dropped her last bottle at night time and it was done.DS on the other hand wanted to use a 'big kid's' cup since seeing his sis using it all the time, kwim? I believe they all have their own pace. Just keep putting a sippy of water somewhere and one day he'll use it! ![]() I was always more laid back and think as long as they're not starting kindergarten and still need a bottle and binkie it's fine
