Starla--get it. Like I said, the becos sell like hotcakes so if you hate it you can turn around and easily sell it and go back to the ergo.

So, with the bigger babes, do you front carry or back carry? I have a ring sling that I use, but I just don't carry her that much...I should more since she won't sit in a cart or anything.

Thanks for the help.

Heck yes. I have even worn my 32lb 2.5 year old in my Beco on occassion. I haven't worn him in the butterfly because we just got it yesterday, but I'm sure the occassion will arise. I'm dying to try them on my back!

This is the one Rob says i have to get since the others are girlie. It includes a hood. Should i pull the trigger? :bitingnails:

D is probably 24 lbs by now and is almost a year, we carry him in the ergo all the time.
After a very satisfactory year of Beco use, I can safely say that this is a FANTASTIC carrier. However . . . I'm about to put on my new Butterfly for the first time, so I'll come back once J is on and post some reviews

Everything I have read recommends the back carry for the bigger babes. C is just pushing 20lbs and even in my ergo, it's more comfy to have her on my back. It's more of the height factor than the weight in the front carry.
Again, reason #1 why I want the beco. Easy back carry.

Jenn!! Can't wait for reviews! Action shots would be a bonus, too.

I agree! I love my beco it saves me so much worry about how i am safely going to get the babe on my back. I used my ergo earlier in the year when DD was still little because DS could climb in on his own but with a little one the butterfly is *way* easier.

April: yay for you!!

I think later, after my custom, I'll sell my current Beco and buy the G2. (I like some of those prints more )

So if I bought my G4 for 80...do you think I could still sell it for that?? I think I'll end up having to take a cut on it
