Tooth order- my dd isn't following the rules lol
So my dd is 8 months old and she has her bottom 2 teeth in the front. SHe has been a bit fussy the past couple days and usually the only time she is cranky for any long period of time (like all day
lleyes2: ) is when she is teething. So I am expecting to feel one of her top two front teeth when I go to check her gums today but no. It's a third one on the bottom. I just thought this was peculiar. Anyone else's lo not get their teeth in the "correct" order?

Re: Tooth order- my dd isn't following the rules lol
I never knew there was an "order". My oldest got his top two first, my second child got all 4 front teeth at once (2 on bottom, 2 on top) and then the next four (2 more on bottom, 2 more on top) a week later (that was a horrible 2 weeks for anyone within a 50ft radius of our house. He was NOT a happy baby to begin with, cutting all those teeth at once at almost a year old was torture for everyone) My third cut her bottom 2 first I think and the baby just cut her bottom 2 teeth Thanksgiving day.
All my kids cut teeth differently so I guess nothing really surprises me.

Re: Tooth order- my dd isn't following the rules lol
I think the teeth order can be quite variable.
We had the vampire look going on too DS got his bottom 2 teeth first, then the insicors, than finally his middle 2 top teeth. That's all he has so far.

Re: Tooth order- my dd isn't following the rules lol
Youngest dd got the bottom 2 first, and then 4 on top. It took forever for the next two on the bottom to come in. We had a coupon for a free visit with the dentist, and he wasn't concerned at all about the order or timing when I brought her in. He said that some of his son's teeth didn't come in for a long time, and they thought he just wouldn't have those baby teeth. Its the same practice of pediatric dentists that my older dc see, so I trust them.
