Re: eggs
I believe its 12m. They can have the yolks (but no whites) starting at 9m but most people just wait until 12m just incase they leave some of the whites behind. Plus, its easier to scramble a whole egg than boil one and then have to make sure there's no specks of whites left. LOL

Re: eggs
I'm glad someone else posted this ?? I was just coming on here to ask this very thing. DD has suddenly decided she is ready for whatever food she can get and I was thinking of scrambling an egg for her.

Re: eggs
They are a common allergy--but it's mostly with egg whites.

Re: eggs
My doctor said 8 months for yolks, but no whites before a year.
DS started getting scrambled egg yolks at 8 months and loves them! There is no history of egg allergy in my family , however, so I am not too worried.

Re: eggs
lol, opps, DD has gotten eggs, the whole egg since starting solids @ 8 months. Her DCP also serves french toast to the infants in the infant room for breakfast, I know they use the Federally approved food program and strictly follow it, wonder why its ok there?

I think the main worry is just allergies and maybe a digestive thing? Anyway, I forgot once and gave DS a piece of french toast, which of course is made with eggs.
