? Re Organic Milk

Is there any reason why I should not give this to my ds? He's of the proper age. I'm just wondering if its ok.

I wouldn't give him anything but organic milk! Go for it!

Re: ? Re Organic Milk

Organic milk means the cows are given organic feed and not medicated to increase milk production. These are good things. It doesn't, however, mean that the cows were treated with compassion or kindness, or given access to free range pasture or allowed to keep their calves with them. We get milk from a local dairy farmer who does not use organic feed, he uses free range, and not ALL of it is organic (7 yrs no applications), but he's working on that. So it's a good thing to do esp. if there isn't a local option.
