Question about Interlock!

Hiya! So I'm buying up a bunch of interlock shorts because I'm getting sick of shaving my knit shorties. I have tried three different shavers (target, and 2 from fred meyers) and they suck. It's a big hassle so I thought this would help me. But I'm wondering are interlock shorties as cool as knit? The same? more so? It gets into the 100s here and so that's important. My DH already thinks I'm horrible for putting him in "sweater pants" in the summertime.

AND who makes your favorite? Spam is totally welcomed.

Thank you

Re: Question about Interlock!

Yes they are. My daughter's bottom is cool to the touch when in interlock and we do not have central AC. We live in an older home and use window ACs for night and the extra hot days.

I make interlock shorts. I do nothave them in my gallery yet though they will be a shortened version of the longies.

Re: Question about Interlock!

Wool, be it interlock, knit or recycled breathes wonderfully. Last year I was visiting in a VERY warm climate (104 degrees F in the shade ) My nephew was in sposies and my ds was in fitteds and interlock shorts. Nephew got a heat rash ds was fine

I am making interlock shorts and board shorts in my "Jeans" style for spring and summer also triple flounce bottom shorts and capris and a new style of safari board shorts. You can see examples of my work in my gallery http://chicstart.com/gallery.html

I am full up for customs through Passover but I am starting a list for after April 19 when I will return to work after the holiday.

Um, I highly recommend Ahuva! She is a dream Momma to work with! We have some interlock pants of hers and they are so nice. And I'm anxiously awaiting the mailman to ring my doorbell with some delicious summer wool!!!!!
