So do you have to turn the diaper out and scrunch up the material to get the pliers inside the diaper? Or did you just do it through the material?Thanks so much!

i asked the same question before and this is what you do: you reach up inside and put the stud through the hole, then take your hand out making sure it stays in place. then just use your snap pliers over top of the material, so there will be material between your pliers and the snap. so no, you don't go through all the layers. does that make sense?

subbing because i just bought snap pliers! I was just about to start replacing the aplix on my bgs (got the kits from CB) but I found a great deal on some pliers, so hopefully I'll be able to do this! I think i want two rows of snaps though... think I'll make a template from my snap bg orgs. If anyone knows of a tute for two rows please let me know!

Oh thank you so much for this tute! I just got my snap pliers this morning, and during nap time I finished my first BG snap conversion!!! This tute was super-helpful. I used a BGOrg with snaps as my template and put two rows of snaps on mine. It works perfectly!
