since I see 12 pages in this forum lol... I will just ask the question bc I can't seem to find anyone else asking this question..... I only have a snap press, The snaps would be touching babys skin right? or do I NEED snap pliers? HOWEVER i still think this is VERY clear and LOVE the tut~!!! thankyou for posting

The snaps don't touch the baby's skin. You make the hole only through one layer of PUL and insert the cap inside the diaper.

Then you'll use your press like normal, except that there will be a layer of PUL between the cap and the bottom part of the press (it is the same with the pliers). Does that make sense?

I have an old styl BG AIO organic diaper that I want to convert. Since there is no pocket, the only way to put the snaps on would be to have them touching baby's skin, or to take the diaper apart. Is there any harm to having them touch baby's skin? Is there another way? Thanks!

yeah snaps touching their skin is bad.... I had one done that way where it touched and it left these awful marks.. poor baby! I do not use that dipe anymore..

I was hoping not to have to rip the diaper apart and sew back together again, especially since I won't have the right colour thread. Oh well, I guess it is better than having a useless diaper. The aplix still sticks good, but the laundry tabs are gone which ruins the rest of the diaper in washing. I might put this one off for a while.
