Diaper Swappers

What worries me is that those of us with good anti-virus/malware/spyware software are at least getting notifications - mamas who don't have this could be getting trojan horse/virus infections with every few log-ons to diaperswappers. I'm guessing the ads are the vehicle for the viruses - any chance of disabling them while you fix the problem?

I got a warning at 2:00 pm on my Mac. I just logged in on DH'S PC and didn't have a warning. I ran security software last night and located tracking ookies on both computers - is that malware?

Tracking cookies are something you get from many websites. Not a huge deal.

I got 2 more trojans trying to download once again this morning. This is getting pretty old. I would suggest that anyone who wants to continue on here checks out Windows Live OneCare. Its great at blocking the junk trying to infect from this site. They give you a 90 day free trial and then you can subscribe for like $50/year. I'm really happy with it. AVG, A-squared and SpyBot weren't cutting it for me on DS. Trojans were getting by all 3 of those really easily.

I second the poster who suggested blocking ads for a while. I know its loss of revenue for the site, but there's gonna be a bigger loss if users continue to leave.

Good luck gettiing it fixed.

I heard that if you pay to subscribe to DS, then there are no adds--so most likely no viruses. SO I wonder if that is why DS is not fixing the problem: so that more users will be encouraged to subscribe, hence more revenue????

Just some brainstorming I've been doing.

I've been frequenting other forums as well, and spending less and less time on DS. RIght now no one is biting at the stuff I have on FSOT, AND no one is offering what I am looking for. I think it is because fewer and fewer people are coming to DS due to this HUGE HUGE problem!

This just happened a bit ago, I guess it's the one where it asks you to download an anti-virus program.

This seriously sucks and I suggest that this gets fixed ASAP or at the very least and just for the time-being that DS places a clear warning on it's page to all people visiting or those who haven't been here in a while so that hopefully they can get out before something attacks their computer.

I have been here for years and this it absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.

My DH doesn't think it's a good idea that I come here anymore, so I probably won't be too much help from here one out. Finishing a transaction and I'm out. I'm thinking DS will be looking at a mass exodus if this isn't resolved soon.

I keep getting this crap, too! It IS getting old now!!! Its really ridiculos that this isnt getting fixed!

We are really trying. This is the most difficult thing I have ever had to deal with on a website. We ARE working on this and hope to have some updates soon.
