Red face Help... Kraft Mac & Cheese ideas....

I'm trying to stock up on thrifty food staples for the kitchen.

I just bought 35 boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese....

Now what?

Pretty much the only thing we ever do with mac & cheese is throw some peas and tuna in it. I absolutely KNOW there have to be a wider variety of recipes out there.

Sooooo.... Please share

Also, if you know of a great website that I can find some recipes for using boxed mac & cheese-- that would be great too.

Thanks mamas!!!

I add ground hamburger/turkey burger and a can of diced tomatoes (or the canned tomatoes w/green chiles in it) I also add onions to the hamburg while its cooking. And to add some nutrition, I add ground flax seed to the hamburg aswell... Kraft's website has alot of ideas to use w/mac n cheese.

That's sounds delicious. That may be a compromise meal, considering that DH's not fond of tomatoes and I'm not fond of onions.

The first place I tried was the Kraft website. I couldn't figure it out, though... and never managed to find the mac & cheese recipes

Re: Help... Kraft Mac & Cheese ideas....

We throw broccoli and rotel in it.

We are starting to do some storing of food too in anticipation of tornado season mostly. At anywhere, anytime it's a good idea tho'. Wish we could get good food deals but we don't have the stores here so I'm using my survey $ type things to buy the stored food/water with.

I prepare mac and cheese like normal, then spread 1/2 in the bottom of a pan, put in a layer of hamburger, pour some spaghetti sauce on top, then repeat those layers, then bake till bubbly.
my hubby loves it, and it is better on day 2!

If you go to kraftfoods.com and under the search tool, search mac, it gives you 361 recipes...

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow. So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.
