Need PL pantie advice/ info on store?! PLease!
DD is PL, whohoo, although I am also sad. Funny huh? (now that I just stocked up on new diapers in her size)
![]() What do I get for when I go out now though? I need something that will fit my little DD who is a very petite 23 lbs and thin and will hold some pee for when we are out and she forgets. She doesn't want to wear CD and I don't want panties for our running around or when she sleeps in the car seat. Any suggestions? Anybody know who makes tiny PL panties? We have just used the cloth diapers for her, not our older kiddos and this is still new to me. TIA!!! ![]() Advertisement

I would recommend posting in diaper chatter. I know someone there will read it and should be able to help you out!

Re: Need PL pantie advice/ info on store?! PLease!
My dd started pl'ing when she was about your dd's age (and size). We tried a variety of cloth trainers, both 'waterproof' and non. My daughter tends to hold it and pee a lot at a time--lol--so we never found a truly waterproof cloth trainer. That said, we liked the imse vimse trainers (18 month size fit my slender 22 pound dd perfectly). We still had to change her pants if she wet, but there wasn't a puddle.
I also hightly recomend the 'piddle pad', http://www.pottytrainingconcepts.com...-Aid-PP-z.html it has saved the car seat on numerous occasions! Check out the potty learning section of FSOT; it's a good way to try out a product without investing too much. Best of Luck! |

Re: Need PL pantie advice/ info on store?! PLease!
We used these with success. Mostly. They only hold like one or two pees though.
http://www.babybestbuy.com/training-vinyl-special.asp I liked these better though, they are the nylon version, but more expensive http://www.babybestbuy.com/training-...ning-pants.asp I also used the gerber trainers in the store with nylon pants over them. I used bummis, but here are dappi ones. http://www.babybestbuy.com/diapering-vinyl-pants.asp HTH!

Re: Need PL pantie advice/ info on store?! PLease!
This might go against what you are looking for, but I never got to trainers for some reason or other (money, time, etc) To improvise, I used an empty pocket diaper over panties. DD ususally peed a little bit before making to the potty, so it would hold enough to get us to the bathroom. On occasion I would put a cut up mircrofiber towel inside (so if it is one that folded in thirds, I cut off a third and that is what I used.) Still very thin so it didn't feel like a diaper, but a little absorption and waterproof.
Other sites you might check out are: www.wonderbabydesigns.com These are made for ECing, but I think they would work for PLing too. They are cut more like panties and are smaller since they are for ECing babies and toddlers. I can only say that I liked the way they looked. Alhtough I ordered the home sewing pattern, I never finished a pair because DD was fine in panties during the day before I could finish them. Now they sit, unfinished next to my sewing machine. www.cloththoughts.com Also can't vouch for how they work. I got a few pair new and thought they looked great, but they were too big and DD never grew into them. Hope you find what you are looking for!
