Pocket question

Do any of you have/use pockets where the opening is at the tummy end of the diaper and do you like it?

I have some DIY pul type film I'm going to laminate to some woven prints for pockets in a size small...one pattern I have could be easily adapted to put the pocket opening at the tummy end..it would be much easier for me to make them this way

I do. Cloth Diaper Wholesale and Fattycakes are that way. I like it. No poop on it

Re: Pocket question

My CDW's are like that, and I don't really care for it. When the rise is snapped down, it makes the inner funky and it opens up and exposes the microfiber to my DD's belly. It also makes the inner hang out of the diaper in front. I thought I'd really like it, but eh.

Re: Pocket question

Hey Lisa!

I have a few unknown makers like this, the only thing I don't like it the stuffins sometimes poke out the front and when I use a PF to stuff (nap mainly) I have to fold and carefully stuff backwards. Other than that, I manage.

Re: Pocket question

I have some Tail Feather Fusion Diapers that are front loading and I absolutely love them! I have boys so I am able to load the front of the diaper with small soakers that 1) leave the back super trim 2) easy to remove because I dont have to stick my hand all the way down the dipe to get the small soaker.. now having said that, the way they are designed they have a more of an envelope style opening as in there is a overlaping flap that keeps the soaker from riding up/poking out etc... if you are making them yourself, I highly recommend the overlaping flap to keep the inserts still..

HTH!
