BEST TIP for hard water

( i have only bought the pellets i don't know if the crystals would work too) Good Luck

What about potassium chloride crystals? Has anyone tried those? It's salt free (actually removes sodium) so it doesn't seem like it would damage your machine.

Seems like that should be a LOT less corrosive than salt pellets. I would heed the warnings before you have a big wet mess on your hands.
