Ever dye a bummis?

So...I found a Bummis for $1.25 at a resale shop and snatched it up. I've used it a few months and it was looking more off-white than white and sunning didn't help, so I tried dyeing it pink using some dye we have from Dharma trading. Now it looks slightly pink, slightly white, slightly offwhite. What can I do? (I'll still use it, of course, but I'd love to get it more vividly colored. Any advice?

Re: Ever dye a bummis?

I did with some Proraps I had, but I used RIT dye (I know, I know, not the best choice ) and blue came out light blue, green light green and purple more along the lavendar color. I didn't end up using them much and sold them, so I don't know how long the color stayed that way. I heard that pretty much all PUL dipes that were dyed fade after a while.
