Korea momma, near Seoul mainly

Want to met up for a outting? I was thinking of going to the Seoul Forrest this week or weekend, prefer friday, sat or next week. Sunday isn't really good for me.
Unless you have some other place you want to go to. I have been all over since we have been here, the forest with the Deer is the LO's fav place so far. The museums are cool though too if you would rather go there.
I haven't been to the Childern's Park yet bt hear good things about it.
Shopping is always fun too.

I'd love to meet up for an outing sometime. Hubby works during the day so it gets kind of lonesome here. I'm in Ilsan so not sure how that all works out as I haven't done much with the big transportation on my own yet. This week though is out because my daughter and I have been fighting a nasty cold all this week. I'm hoping next week we'll be feeling better, I'm certainly getting sick of being sick all the time. Bleh.

Alot of people get sick when they first move here. Could be allergies too.
Are you near a subway stop? The deer park is off one of the subway, everything I do tends to be near a subway, so much easier then driving, which I do only when I have to. LOL
I find the subway easier with the kids over the buses.
I am close to 2 one a transfer from line 8 and Bundang line another is the line 3 and bundang transfer stop. Think can find out the park is off the Jungnang line.

I'm not very far from the Madu station, I believe it is called. Where I'm at, just about everything is within walking distance, we're pretty much in the downtown part of Ilsan.

I've only been on the Subway one time though and that was to get to the Costco's here so my experience on them are VERY limited. Not to mention, it was my first time on a subway EVER! lol Previously, my only experience with them have been the sandwiches from Subway.

I love the subway. If there are things up near you, even a part we can come up there so you don't have to do the subway if you want.
I think I sent you a pm last week too.

Just sent you a PM. I may not be easy to reach online right now, my internet is being flaky for some reason and I'm having to rely on the wi-fi.

I am a bit farther south then your parents. I love Korea, not Seoul so much but it is ok. Not a big city person so.

Re: Korea momma, near Seoul mainly

Okay, so I'm updating this thread because now that I have the subway figured out a little better, I would like to start meeting up with people, especially as my one mom friend is leaving for the states for a month. So yeah, anyone along the subway line at all who is willing to meet up sometime? I'm on the number 3 orange line towards the end at Madu Station. But I can probably figure out how to get at least pretty close to Seoul if not Seoul Station itself. I'm really getting more interested in taking the subway more and exploring the different shops.
