The PO just doesn't want people using their free shipping supplies for purposes other than they are meant for. If you are going to ship things priority whether it's in a priority bag, box, flat-rate box, you can use their bags and boxes but if you're shipping 1st-class or parcel post, you must use your own packaging and are not allowed to recycle used priority bags and boxes to ship 1st-class or parcel post. You may only recycle used priority bags/boxes if you are shipping priority mail.

this is very clear, dont take free shipping supplies that are designed and available for a specific shipping program and just use them how you want, that's stealing, they don't want people stealing, you can reuse the boxes for the type of shipping they're designed for if you dont want to use them for other things than shipping or recycle them. They aren't just giving away free boxes at the post office and they will charge your buyer. thanks for posting this info.

I never even heard of reusing or turning things inside out. Mind you I am new to this shipping thing. I just take my item to the postal service and pick out a package right there. If it doesn't fit into an envelope of some-sort. I box it up before hand and wrap the box. Does think include wrapping boxes, such as diaper boxes, moving boxes that were used for merchandise before? Or is it just apply to reusing a bag, envelope or box that has been shipped already?
