Re: Italian Sausage?
Use it instead of ground beef in spaghetti sauce, top a homemade pizza with it, if it's links use it for sandwiches with sauteed peppers and onions

Re: Italian Sausage?
I just made some pizza tonight with some! yummy. You could make biscuits and gravy, or spaghetti like the pp said. You can pretty much sub it into whatever you would put ground beef in....

Re: Italian Sausage?
Ground or links?
Ground: fry it up with some onion and add to a marinara for pasta dishes (spaghetti, baked penne, lasagna, etc) Links: Cook and slice into 'coins' to put on pizza cook and make hoagies - add cooked sliced onions and peppers (sometimes I'll do this for dinner #1 and make extra then use the leftover sausage/onion/peppers in lasagna) Make a one dish dinner with cooked sausages, fried potatoes and cooked greens ETA oops my reply window was open so long I see a couple ideas were already mentioned, sorry!

Re: Italian Sausage?
If it's ground, you can add scrambled eggs, hashbrown potatoes or small diced potatoes (cook whichever you use first!), cheese, salsa if you want and make breakfast burritos.

Re: Italian Sausage?
I took the links, remove the casings, and added it to my homemade spaghetti sauce!

Re: Italian Sausage?
Thanks Mamas. I used it last night in some spaghetti. It was delicious. I think I am also going to try it in our breakfast.

Re: Italian Sausage?
Last night I sliced it up, cooked it with some broccoli, made some rotini, and tossed the sausage, broccoli, and rotini with basil pesto. It was pretty good.
