2% milk or whole milk?

I honestly cannot remember what they can get at 12 months. I've been giving my DD 2% because that's what we had.

We only drink 2% in our home, i can stand the taste of whole milk at all, you can give whichever you'd like, if your baby is having trouble gaining weight though you might want to do whole milk since it has alot more calories

Re: 2% milk or whole milk?

I was told whole milk only. The fat in the whole milk is crucial for their brain development!

I heard whole milk too because of the extra fat for the brain.

I had to give miranda Soy though, so I don't really count. LOL

They say whole milk, but something to consider when drinking whole milk is that the bad stuff accumulates in the fat. Meaning - at the whole milk stage at least - if you can get organic, this might be a good choice.
