Last week I made a roast and had planned to make hot roast beef sandwiches with the leftover. Until I discovered that my 6 year old DS ate all the leftover beef. lol

Re: What's for dinner this week...April 6th-12th

Monday~Leftover sketti (baked) with Motz cheese
Tuesday~country fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy
Wednesday~homemade chicken nuggets, green beans and McD french fries
Thursday~DH won't be home till 8pm...which is late for us to eat. So the kids and I will eat corn dogs and mac n cheese. All processed, but quick and painless for me after having the kids ALL DAY
Friday~Hoping it's not too cold and wet, DH will cook Pork Steaks on the grill.
Tomatoes with dressing and corn as sides
Saturday~Chicken crock meal with salsa, cream cheese, corn and beans ALA the crock recipe that has been a hit here on DS. Served with rice
Sunday~Ranch pork loin with carrots and rice

Re: What's for dinner this week...April 6th-12th

Monday: Bombay Chicken (OAMC, trying to stock the freezer before baby comes!) with rice and veggies

Tuesday: Korean food; marinated pork, seaweed soup (better than sounds! lol) and rice

Wednesday: Pizza pasta bake (another OAMC recipe.) and veggies

Thursday: Kimchi fried rice

Friday: beef stiryfry

Saturday: Just me, so I'm not sure yet. Maybe a chicken spinach artichoke calzone from the freezer.

Sunday: Easter, it's just the two of us, so I'm doing a ham, homemade rolls, and green beans. We'll have leftover cake too, hubby's bday is saturday.

Re: What's for dinner this week...April 6th-12th

I'm still in the "testing" stage for the country fried steak. I tried to make it about a month ago and the breading fell off and the gravy was bland.

So this is round 2! (ding ding)

I was watching Good Eats with Alton Brown and his just looked so yummy that I figured I would try his recipe next. The reviews are pretty good and I like that the gravy has some chicken broth in it. So I already know it will have more flavor than the first recipe I tried (which was just milk, flour and s/p)
http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/a...ipe/index.html

And DOH! It slipped my mind Sunday was Easter! No Pork Loin!
We will be having turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole and DH's stuffed mushrooms!
