Re: Twin ultrasound pic!

That's awesome! Thanks for sharing!

I know several people who have had twins naturally (my hb midwife had a set of twins at home!), if that's an encouragement to you!

And just because I have to brag, here are mine at about 18 weeks. And yes, it was the first and last good pic we got of them both together.

Re: Twin ultrasound pic!

Carrie - did your boys stay transverse or did they change later on in the pregnancy?

Re: Twin ultrasound pic!

Bethany they were vertex, vertex for most of the pregnancy, and they were vertex, vertex when they were born vaginally. They were vertex, breech at some points (A vertex, B breech) but never for very long. I have never really understood whether they were actually transverse in this pic. It may just be the perspective, but I don't know enough about how the ultrasound machines enough to be able to tell. They were definitely vertex, vertex by about 21 weeks. Vertex, vertex is the most common orientation at delivery, followed by vertex, breech. For them to stay in a transverse position would be quite rare, I would think. As the pregnancy goes on they will naturally move into the position that takes up the least room.
