Wow mama, I don't know. I know that doesn't help. I hope you can get someone to see her faster. Maybe call the peds office and tell them you are really concerned(kinda freak out on them) and they as the reffering dr may be able to get you in sooner.(worked at the drs office I used to work at all the time)

I hope you get it figured out soon. I'd call the ped office and ask if there is something they can do to get her seen sooner with a dermatologist.

Re: Strange foot rash that keeps growing *PIX*

it's not hookworm... and if by small chance it is... I'll eat my own foot lol

She has NO signs of it being hookworm, the "welts" on her foot have NEVER bothered her. They've been there for over 3 months. And I am VERY sure that her dr would have tested her. All the information I've read on hookworm and ALL the pictures I've seen doesn't look like or resemble what she has.

she has an apt tomorrow with a derm. I have to drive an hour but I got her in.
Granuloma Annulare is said to be caused by trauma, these "welts" sit on the same foot that had to have stitches.

here is pix I pulled

Hookworm

now, I'm no DR but it does NOT look like hookworm
DD

and Granuloma Annulare

Thank you for the info very helpful and resourceful .. but I'm sorry mama .. I don't just give my babies antibiotics for no reason. I have to have proof and then I'll need proof that a prescription is the only option.

YES IT TOTALLY SUCKS!

I know everyone is trying to be helpful but I agree with Amber that it is not hookworm and if it is then I shall eat crow as well.

Hookworm is very apparent as you can see the "worm" under the skin. What Gracie has looks almost like blisters. The skin is smooth with the exception of the "bumps" on the skin. All signs and symptoms point to granuloma annulare. Only her appt to the dermatologist tomorrow will tell but my gut is telling me its not hookworm.

As Amber's BF thank you all for the suggestions. They were much appreciated.

do try the raw honey and try it for a while becuase its natural it takes time to work. i had seen patients which psychiatric issues who dug holes in their skin nothing worked to clean it out but raw honey.
Vertigo is a problem with the inner ear that causes a person to become dizzy. It has nothing to do with skin.

Doesn't look like a hook worm to me either. I immediately thought ring worm, but thats been ruled out right?
I'm on the fence for granuloma, it doesn't look like that either to me. Isn't that more open and crusty?
Hope you figure it out soon mama.

I'll assume she meant vitiligo.
