Re: has anyone tried to control ADD/ADHD with diet?
We haven't been officially diagnosed with ADHD yet, but we are trying a dye, MSG, artifical flavoring free diet. We are also using fish oil as well.
Overall we have noticed it has helped, but not as much as I had hoped. But it is better. I am hoping once we get in with the neurologist that they can help even more. We are hoping to go med free if possible .

Re: has anyone tried to control ADD/ADHD with diet?
My favorite teacher had her son stop consuming anything w/ added citric acid and/or dyes to help w/ ADHD. It worked amazingly well, he was a whole knew kids.
I would go to the library and ask for books on ADHD diet, they have some great suggestions.
