I know you are waiting for the GI's dr appointment so I would call them and let them know that the problem is getting worse. Maybe they can work you in sooner.

What did the blood look like? Was it red fresh blood or brown/black older blood??

We took her in to the pediatrician again yesterday morning. He looked at her bottom and said it was an anal fissure.

I am so sorry Mama...when I was 35 weeks prego with my second child I had to call the on call dr on sat because I had a infection in my gut from food poisoning and I was dehydrated and I had a on call dr say to me you realize you are calling me on the sabath I was so taken back and upset that I wanted to punch him through the phone.

I am going to take 5 seconds and just give the doc the benefit of the doubt that something drastic wasn't going on in the office. While yes, it was rude, it is possible that some very ill/hurt child just walked in and needed his immediate attention.

Im so sorry he is such a jerk. My dd has blood when she is constapated to and so do I. So I think its just cause its sych a hard big thing commen out of a small thing lol.
