Re: shoe help for Xtra-wide feet

I've got an XW kiddo too. The only thing that saves us is that we have a Stride Rite outlet store about 30 miles away. They usually have their shoes at about half the retail price, which definitely makes it worth the drive. (In fact, we need to head up there soon to look for some sandals.)

There's a website where you can search for Stride Rite outlet stores here.

Re: shoe help for Xtra-wide feet

I just wanted to second the See Kai Run shoes. They are wide, awesome quality, and they are SO flexible. I'm actually really bummed that my daughter's feet suddenly became narrow and she doesn't really fit into the wide SKR's anymore. But I still love them. You can get them cheaper on ebay or sometimes in the Buy and Sell here.

We're in Iowa and I've found if I buy soft soled leather shoes w/ wool then my DS does fine outside.

These are the only 2 shoes (plus Crocs) that fit my little boy. It's frustrating.

Ds has super wide feet. We couldn't even find wide enough shoes for him for a long time and just used soft shoes. Then it was xw stride rite... Then we found skate boarding shoes! He wears Vans skateboarding shoes. They are super wide and he loves them.
