A Basic Sunday

We are the Broads of Basics... the Studettes of Simple... the Oracles of the Old School. If we can be summed up in a few words, which really we can't, they'd be contradictory. We're simple yet decadent, a close-knit bunch with a whole lot in common and a whole lot that makes each of us unique. For the most part, we dig the tried-and-true, when it comes to diapering, but don't hold us to that every minute of the day. No one's perfect.

How the heck are you ladies?

Oh, sorry about the storm. I hope you are all ok and there was no damage.

Today was an early star here too, the girls kicked me out of bed at 6am. Gah!

WFL: leftovers from dinner last night
WOTB: Sposies cos I'm lazy/tired today.

We've been playing in the garden all morning (I was knitting and the girls were playing) and now everyone is tired and just sittin' back and watching TV.

Re: A Basic Sunday

i don't know about any damage yet, i know that there was a tornado spotted out by the airport & race track, which there is a ton of people camping out there for a big Lucas Oil drag series race this weekend, which is like a BIG race. but i'm assuming nothing bad happened because i don't hear any police sirens, or firetrucks or anything.

we were going to get in the car & drive to our friend beth's but they live out by the airport so we decided to stick it out here, but i'm glad our neighbor came outside i felt better going there instead of in the closet.

i've got to go get something for breakfast, we don't have any food here!

Re: A Basic Sunday

Good morning!

B has been up since 6:45. He is napping now, and hopefully for a while! He has been all messed up on his sleep/nap schedule this past week! It's cuz I try to do stuff during the time of the day when he should be sleeping. I need to learn to plan my day better.
Once he gets up, I'm gonna take him for a stroll around the hood (with the dog, and I might bring the DH, too).

wotb: Sticky Peas AIO under M/L Luxe shorties ( I these shorties! )

Re: A Basic Sunday

Morning, ladies.

WOTB: Amelia - snappied white-edge prefold, coverless

WOTA:
church
finish cleaning off table so we can pull out the carpet underneath
sorting clothes
put away 12M clothes that I sorted for Amelia
finish diaper laundry
my work clothes laundry

Bethann, how much yarn is required for a skirty, approx size medium? I found 4 oz of yarn on hyena cart that I but I don't know if it is enough. There are 2 skeins (4 oz. each) available, but I don't have enough pp for both.
