There is a fly in our house and Caden said "I really wish we had a frog in here".

Funny Caden! DS would have just FREAKED out and started screaming "Its a BUG!"

And no the text edit/smilies/multi-quote isn't working here either.

Re: Way too early BSRB Tuesday

LOL morning mamas, Gail that was funny about wishing you had a frog.

So sorry that the LOs weren't feeling sleepy through the night. I remember when the middle of the night was play time or throwing up time, or well anything but sleeping time.

So I'm back from 2 days at the water park in Ohio. Kalahari was GREAT it's amazing there. Z loved it, my mom was ablet to watch him a bit so I could go on the slides with the other 5 kids. Z loved the wave pool, he thought that the tubes were trucks and he could bump them over the wave. He also liked the kids play area where they had slides and climbers and stuff. He slept great in the room after all that water play. We drove home yesterday after playing till 3 in the after noon. We got in around 10 pm and all swiftly went to bed, he's still sleeping now.

You know when we were driving through detroit, we stopped at burlington coat factory. One of our foster children smokes, she went out to the front of the store to smoke. There was a man there claiming to be doing fund raising for his school. When our family came outside, the foster child looked "off", it wasn't till we got to the car that she told my parents that this man had tried to expose him self to her. and had grabbed his private region in attempts to show her his goods. My parents marched the teen girl back to where the man was standing and demanded and explanation. He claimed he didn't do anything wrong. My mom went into the store to call the police. The guy caught on and ran away. We left thinking "good ol Detroit".

Next we came to a stop sign and a man was standing there with a sign my parents gave him a few dollars and he looked like he was going to put it with his stash of other money. I was driving my car behind my parents, I looked at the mans face and was shocked to see that he was kneeling CRYING, not just crying Sobbing. I walkied my mom and told her, we all felt bad for the man. I explained to the foster child that ppl are in a state of crisis and are doing things that they ordinarily woudn't have to do. Right now ppl are losing jobs, houses, families and it's an upsetting time.

Anyway I think I'll stick to animal auctions that visit to detroit was traumatizing lol

Re: Way too early BSRB Tuesday

Morning Mamas!
I could not really catch up with last night's thread, ended up spending 2 hours yesterday evening taking Noah to dr about his rash, only to be told it is probably related to some viral something and t o watch his temp and fluid intake. He did want to nurse almost constantly last night which is good except now I feel extremely worn out. We have been up for good since about 6:30 also and the babies seem to be enjoying tag-teaming me this morning...

Hope everyone else's day is starting a little more smoothly (sorry yours is not Shannon ).

Laura

Natalie- Your life is nuts! I hope the girl is ok. Your stories and your animal auction life crack me up though.

Laura- SS it's rough. Wish I could help!
