D has a special radar that detects when i'm going to bed, or when i'm hungry or have to pee. He realizes i need something, starts crying for food. It never fails. Boob at 3AM is much easier than a bottle, but he's been EBF for 13 months now, so i'm not weaning him any time soon. I'm too damn lazy for bottles. It's just tiring when he wants to nurse all evening and i'd like to get stuff done.

About an inch shrinkage in length, and a little in width. Fortunately, D has a trim booty.

I hear you on boob being easier than bottle. I remember getting so exhausted, Z has such a strange eating/sleeping cycle. One day he could sleep all day, the next day he could drink a carton of milk he's a machine. I however wasn't lol

Oh and I missed the discussion on ecover. I have some and I think I must have used it wrong. I used it for every wash, which I think was the problem. So are you suppose to use it once a week type deal? It certainly didn't make my diapers nice and soft again

I have hard water and i think that negates the ecover to some degree. I noticed it made my hemp sbish fitteds softer, but didn't notice it as much on my bsrb's. I have a front loader, maybe it doesn't have as long to soak in and so it's not as soft in the end.

I found that the stuff that works best for my hard water FL is seventh generation. My diapers came out fluffy like they were suppose to. I suppose I should try ecover again. I have a whole bottle sitting here. hummm you could be right about the hard water and the machine not liking it

I can't help with the ecover thing...we don't have hard water and we have a 20yo top loader washer.

Thanks for the pic comparing the broken-in vs. new BSRB. I found that the teal giraffes fabric didn't shrink as much as the others. I remember getting that one and had to fold over the rise like 2"! I can still fold it over an inch.

Starla- I don't know who that knitting is for, but they sure look
