Afraid of wicking in AIO's & Pockets

I have all fitteds except for 1 GAD that I bought to try. I only used it once - I'm SO afraid of wicking when we are out and wool is just SO DEPENDABLE - it's hard to get away from it. I'm wanting less in the bag when we go out, so I am considering BG 3.0's or AI2's - maybe GroBaby.

Any suggestions? Hints?

I know to change often, but sometimes he doesn't go the whole time we are out - then we get home and he floods - ALL OVER THE PLACE. So, what else?

TIA! I know you'll have the answers!

the key to this is making sure you have the right amount of absorbancy in the dipe. if your gads arent holding it all in, you might want to try another insert or a doubler in it, esp for trips. or put wool over the pocket. bg are awesome for going out. i always use them out of the house or at night and almost never have had leaks in the year and a half ive used them. im not so sure a gro baby would be as absorbant, but i havent used them.
