Re: Hump Day Wednesday B2B

yeah it would probably be a lot for hte pillowcases. I made a minkee case for my hubbie for xmas and I used camo minkee....and I coudln't get that thru the co-ops. So I paid $17 for a yard of it...and used over 3/4 it and then a brown piece too...so all in all-I spent over $24 just in materials alone for that case...and add in a little for my time...and no one would buy em...

Anyone awake? I just got DS down... not that it was difficult; I was just being lazy and didn't start the bedtime routine until 8, and then decided to frolic in the bathtub with him (read: get in the bathtub to facilitate easier, more thorough washing ).

Knock on wood, he's been going to sleep easier lately. We nurse a bit, but I can un-latch him before he's all the way to sleep and he'll just snuggle up and fall asleep. Hope it's the sign of better things to come...

I finally finished the shorties

I've not threaded the i-cord so the mama who's getting them can adjust them to the exact place she wants them for her son rise.

I'm really happy with them. Although they only used 2 whole skeins of yarn I had to use 3 skeins to get the colours to match up on both legs although it didnt quite work because the black was a sudden change instead of a gradual like it should have been

He totally gums everything put in his mouth, so why don't I do that more?
Here, they recommend plain whole milk yoghurt as a first food -- I started giving it to DS when he was 6 months old. He never had any issues with it. The yoghurt they make here is similar to Greek yoghurt (don't tell the Turks that, though! ), it's strained and thicker than most yoghurt back home, which makes it taste creamier, dunno if that made a difference in how readily he ate it or not.
