there's nothing on my tongue but wool-elujah

sorry/ I'm so bad with the titles

how's everyone this morning.

I have an idea for a set brewing in my head but I don't think I have the right yarn for it....

let me ask those with more linen stitch experience if anyone here knows...would you recommend using a thinner yarn, like a light worsted, since linen stitch knits up densely?

Good question, Kristen. I've been wondering myself and would like to try a LS skirtie.

Mornin'. I'm working on the dress for Stella (still - I got no knitting done yesterday) and plan on starting a skirtie. I have an Ortho appointment today so should have plenty of knitting time in the waiting room.

Good morning. I love the title. we're huge leonard cohen fans in this house.

As for LS, just size up your needles accordingly to get the drape you want.

yeah, from what I read and my limited experience it's quite dense and eats up yardage.

the girls have preschool today so I am going to try to get some work on their neglected dresses done. I have finished the rise of the scrappies I am working on and just weaving in ends of the custom board shorts.

I have this sugar bubbie yarn I am dying to knit inti something spectacular. I'm not going to use it for customs. I'm going to make something special. just don't know what yet
