Which pattern are you using? A lot of people have said the Crazy Hat Lady soaker is really huge. I tend to agree, but it comes out a lot more acurate if you use a much smaller hook. At least 2.5 sizes down.

Has anyone used the Nice's crochet soaker pattern on the down under page? It looks like what I want, I'm just looking for some feedback on the pattern.

i'm using the elysium odyssey and seraphim soaker patterns. they both turn out HUGE even tho I followed the gauge.

i'm in north orange county do you find wool to be too hot for SFV?
