I've used Yarn Source Sol before w/ good results. The texture/etc. is comparable to Cascade 220.

Superwash wool works more like fleece than wool for soakers, etc. And it can be super soft next to a new born.

No, wool in the super heat is fine. I live in deep south Texas (like that red dot you see on the weather maps, lol) and my dd is very comfortable in wool. That's all she wears. Well besides diapers and shirts, and such.

Nope! Not at all! DS is no longer in diapers, so I made him some acrylic shorties and he sweats SOOOO much more than he ever did in wool. So I stopped putting them on him.
