share your cloth wipe procedure, please :)

I have a wipe warmer that I like and at first I just put the cloth wipes in it like I did the disposable ones....but they started to stink. So, I just put a few in at a time....still stinky, like really musty smelling. So, now I just have the solution in the warmer and keep the wipes separate, and dunk them in when I need one. But the solution alone is not really warm, so the wipes aren't either.

What do you mamas do?

Thanks!

I just put them under the hot water before I go to change the babe!

Could your solution be going icky? Are you using distilled water and a solution w/ TTO?

You might wanta try distilled water along with some tto for anti-bacterial affect! We set the wipes by the kitchen sink & wet them with warm water as needed!

I keep mine in a Huggies diaper tub and a bottle of solution nearby. I get the wipe warm under hot water and douse some of the solution on it. I used to use a spray bottle and a dry wipe, but that was just too much trouble. I was new to the concept, can you blame me?

hmm....I didn't really want to resort to using the hot tap on the way....it's so nice for me to just get there and have everything you need. I'd rather just use the room-temp solution....
I use baby bits, which has antibacterial stuff in it. The solution has never smelled funky, just the wipes themselves. Not too bad, just sort of like a locker room or something, you know?
oh well.... I'll just keep doing what I'm doing....just curious about what worked for others!
Thanks!!

I run them under warm water so they are aways fresh. Or I keep a bottle of water, shampoo, and baby oil and just squirt and wipe.

I keep a peri bottle filled with water and wipes solution in the window so the sun warms it. I just squeeze a little on a wipe and voila!

well..........................heres an idea! You could mix up your soultion like normal, dunk your wipes to get them wet and soapy, then dry them in the dryer.

That way, when you need one, all you need is the hot water, you will already have all the goddies in the wipe right?
