Anyone have any good tips/suggestions for making London Broil??
I always see pictures of it all sliced up and looking nice and pink and delicious! I would love to have that! We are having dinner guests Thursday night and I really want to make it! TIA! |

Re: London Broil tips????
Yummy meats like that I like to keep simple, so the flavor of the meat itself is the star. Here is something I use on all my big roast type dinner meats, it coats the outside giving it a nice flavor w/out taking away from the meat itself (I always eyeball everything, tho, I've never measured):
Course Salt Dry Mustard Cracked Black Pepper Cajun Seasoning (if you like) Garlic (fresh or powder) Small Onion Little Lemon Juice Grand Mariner (secret ing.) Little Maple Syrup (I know it sounds wierd) Paprika Mince onion and garlic (if using fresh), and combine with all other ingredients to make a thin paste (still slightly liquidy). Place meat in roasting pan (roasting bags work great), and rub with marinade. Cover w/foil (if not using a bag), and roast in oven @ 325 until cooked to desired redness. Letting the meat soak in the marinade for a few hours makes it all the more enjoyable. And, when using a roasting bag, I like to put carrots and potaoes underneath the meat with a little butter and some of the marinade..... it's yummy

It cut off part of my ingredients
. Dry Mustard, Cajun Seasoning (if you like a little spice), Small Onion, & (the secret ingredient) a little Grand Marnier.
