FB's are really bulky!

Me no likey My poor baby looks so weird with this giant bubble butt. We tried the FB's this afternoon when the HH's ran out and I don't care for the FB's at all *sigh* I only had one insert in too. I have two in there now since he's sleeping for the "night" (until 2am, that's his long stretch) so he looks even bulkier.
Maybe I'll just have them for my nighttime dipes.
Is it just me or are they really bulky?

I think all cds are bulky. I use FB w/microfiber inserts...2 at all times. Yes his butt is big but I like the big cd butts.

Hmm I didn't find ours too bulky! Pretty trim, I thought. Maybe HH are a lot trimmer though, I haven't tried one. We have Fb's and Fuzzi Fannies so IMO Fb's are really trim!

ITA! Cd's ARE fluffy butt makers! There was a recent thread about finding cd-friendly clothing lol. You probably won't ever find a cd as trim as a sposie.

Hmm. I've never really had that problem. FB's were the first cloth diaper I used. Obviously they were more bulky than the disposables I was used to...

But, I don't think they are bulky on my son.

He's in smalls with 1 microterry insert for day. Right now he has a HH hemp with the oval insert and a microterry on top.

I like bubble butts too, but this is a little too much!

I have to say my FBs are waaaaaay trimer than my fitteds w/ a cover- but yes they are much fluffier than a sposie! I had no idea that HHs were so trim (we've never tried one) Hmm...

I really didn't like FBs. I couldn't get them to fit my youngest DS and he would leak out of the gap in the legs (yes, I tried every suggestion to get it to fit) but they seemed to fit my oldest (not the same dipe as the youngest). Well, the last few weeks, I have been dreading having to use it. Now, we are not a snap family. My youngest is long waisted and fluffy. My oldest is short waisted and super skinny except for his really bony hipbones that stick out. LOL!!! So getting snaps to work is just a battle.

I would say maybe it's a size issue. I would think if the inserts don't cause bulk in the HHs, they wouldn't be the problem. FBs do make great night dipes, though.
