Re: FB's are really bulky!

Maybe it's because you have a newborn. I find them to be super trim on my 14 month old and when he was younger. When I first started out all cds looked huge to me.

Re: FB's are really bulky!

I just started CD'ing my 4.5 month old yesterday. Currently I have 6 FB's and 6 mother eve OS pocket diapers. Still waiting on another order of 12 FB's. The FB's are not bulky at all compared to the other type of diaper I have. Of course the FB is more bulky than the sposie, but waay cuter.

Re: FB's are really bulky!

I don't find them bulky NOW but I did when we first started with the smalls after using disposables for the first 3 weeks of his life. I put that first small FB on him and I have to admit it was a bit shocking. My dh just shook his head because he said he looked lost in it. He also had to grow into them a bit.

Now we're both used to it and the FBs are my favorite, not bulky at all for us. Although it isn't always easy to shop for pants

Re: FB's are really bulky!

FB are not at all bulky on my 2 yr old, but when I first started using smalls on the baby they were superbulky. Now that he is almost 4 mos. old they are not near as bulky. I think that they are just unusually bulky on little babies and it gets better as they get bigger. But thats just my .Hope your little guy grows into them soon.

Re: FB's are really bulky!

The sizing on FB and HH do run differently so maybe you need to drop down a size in the FB. Ashton is in a large in almost all of his diapers but his large FB do seem bigger than the rest of his stash. He could wear a medium FB but I am not going to buy any mediums because he is only going to get bigger very soon!

Re: FB's are really bulky!

FB were bulky on my son when I first started CDing when he was 4 weeks old, and now that he's almost 11 weeks they fit him nice. They give him a cute bubbly butt versus a massive tumor If you are using small HHs and FBs the small HHs are definatly trimmer though!

Re: FB's are really bulky!

I think my FBs are just as trim as my HHs. It probably is due to how small your son is now. As he grows, they will "thin" out on him.

Bubble butt is cute.
