FB's are really bulky!

It definitely depends on the size of the kid. They seem bulky on my 6mo, but very trim on my 2yo (with one insert).

Ive been using Fbs since I first started CDing they were my first purchase. My DD was 3 mo old then and they were a little bulky. Now she is 1 year old and I find them to be one of my trimmest dipes.
HH are way different fit then FB. They have a much high rise and a different closure so they probably fit a lot different then your FB

I find SEZ trimmer than FB. Try stuffing it with a trifold microfiber towel. Sometimes those MF inserts you get for free get to be a bit bulky.

hmm i dont think they are bulky , just to wide in the crotch for my guy. but they look fine under clothing

In Larges the HH are way bulkier than the FB, I thought. The PUL and the fleece are both thicker and the HH are wider though out the crotch. The only thing trimmer I think are GreenAcreDesigns and Swaddlebees.

and yes, when he was in sm they looked big and bulky. so maybe that is why??

FBs are not bulky at all for us even as a small baby. We use JBs though for inserts and that is probably why. Microterry is much bulkier.

I use HH and FB together. I think HH looks trim no matter what insert you have even One size wonderfull inserts looks trim. But for FB, it looks bulky. I have to always save hemp or smaller inserts for FB to look trim. I also think even it seems pretty loose, FB seems to leave marks. I can't imagine FB for night but HH works for me. Therefore, I prefer HH over FB at this time. But I know baby shape changes every month so I am holding on to both.
